Any natural or legal person can become a member of the Association.
The request for admission to the Association must be addressed to the Board of Directors. The board of directors decides on admission.
Membership ends with death; in the case of legal persons, by their termination, resignation or exclusion.
The resignation must be declared in writing to the board of directors. It is only authorized with a notice period of three months before the end of a calendar year.
A member may be excluded from the Association if he has grossly violated the interests of the Association and if he is more than three months late in paying at least one annual membership fee.
The executive committee decides on an exclusion. The member to be excluded must be given the opportunity to make a statement within two weeks before the decision is taken; exclusion for default of payment must be threatened in writing within three months.
The interested party may lodge an appeal against the refusal of admission and against the exclusion from the Association within a period of one month after receipt of the decision. The following general meeting decides on the appeal. The appeal against the exclusion has a suspensive effect.
