Main bodies

An association is made up of the organs allowing the proper functioning of this association. We can cite here among others the board of directors and the general assembly.

Board of directors

  • The association's board of directors is made up of the 1st president, the 2nd president and the treasurer.
  • The association is represented judicially and extrajudicially by the board of directors. The president has the right to represent the association alone.
  • The deputy president and the treasurer together represent the association.
  • The board of directors is elected by the general assembly for a period of two years.
  • The members of the Board of Directors remain in office after the expiration of their mandate until the successful election of a new Board of Directors.
  • If a member of the Board resigns during the term of office, the Board may appoint an alternate member for the remainder of the term of the resigning member.
  • Only members of the association can be members of the board of directors.

The general Assembly

  • The general assembly is responsible for the following questions:
  • Election and dismissal of the members of the board of directors and of the cash auditors,
  • Adopt resolutions on changes to the statutes,
  • take resolutions on the dissolution of the association,
  • Determination of the amount and the due date of the annual subscription,
  • Decision-making on complaints against the rejection of a membership application and against an exclusion decision from the Board of Directors,
  • Approval and acceptance of the annual report and other reports of the Board of Directors,
  • Discharge of the executive board.
  • Once a year, if possible during the first quarter of a year, the ordinary general assembly of the association takes place.
  • Other (extraordinary) general meetings will be called if the interest of the Association so requires.
  • The resolutions of the general meeting are the subject of a report which is signed by the chairman of the meeting and the writer of the minutes.
  • The keeper of the minutes is the treasurer. If the treasurer is unable to attend, the assembly appoints the custodian of the minutes.
  • The minutes contain the time and place of the meeting, the number of members present, the names of the chairman of the meeting and of the custodian of the minutes and the agenda, as well as the resolutions adopted, including including the type of vote and the results of the vote.
